2013 Composition Contest for Wind Ensemble
The PMCP Composition Contest for Wind Ensemble has been developed to meet the following goals:
- To provide a rich and unique learning experience for members of the Penfield
- High School Wind Ensemble

- To encourage and support the creation of high quality Wind Ensemble
- repertoire that is appropriate for high school ensembles
Composers of all ages and from all countries are invited to enter.
Past Winners: Ian Corbett, Kansas City, Missouri, 2000; Alexandre Travassos, Sao Paulo, Brazil, 2002; John Frantzen, Silver Spring Maryland, 2004; Bill Campbell, Bettendorf, Iowa, 2006, Noah Taylor, Columbus, Ohio, 2008; J. Aaron Stanley, Redondo Beach, California, 2010.
First Prize: $1000 US
Second Prize: $500 US
Third Prize: $250 US
